Burnham Wick Farm is situated in a
beautifully idyllic location in rural Essex. Apart from
agriculture, the farm has a strong emphasis on Conservation and is a previous
winner of FWAG`s `Farming and Conservation` competition and also received a
`Nature of Farming` award. We are signed up to the Countryside Stewardship
Scheme and Entry Level Stewardship and as a result, we have established
Over-Winter stubble areas, plus margins along fields have been created to
encourage Beetle-Banks, with Pollen nectar-mix and wild bird-mix.The
Seawall adjoining the farm is an area of SSSI (Site of Special Scientific
Interest) and birdwatching is always rewarding in this area.
There are extensive footpaths and
bridleways on the farm and beyond, which make it a haven for walkers, dogs and
cyclists alike.Pet pigs, goats and sheep  are features on our farm, as well as the
many beautiful horses which are in the fields near the CL.
Our Caravan and Motorhome Club CL site is located on a large flat field with electrical hook-ups and ample space for
awnings. There is a local shop within a mile
of the site as well as a twice-hourly bus service into Maldon and other larger
centres.Burnham on Crouch has many pubs, restaurants and even a small cinema,
Our CL is known for its tranquillity and peacefulness and a huge number of our visitors
return time and again to spend time on this gem in the Dengie Peninsula.A warm
welcome awaits you!
